DRESSAGE

Dressage tests are UNOFFICIAL.

Two tests can be completed competitively by each rider & horse combination (walk/trot, prelim & novice) at each nominated gymkhana.

Tests are set for each event for the whole season in advance.

Rider/Horse combinations must attend a minimum of 2 events to qualify for the end of year Trophies.

A minimum of 6 points is required to qualify for a Trophy

The Committees decision on placings is final.

Points will be allocated to 6th place:-
1st Place 6 Points
2nd Place 5 Points
3rd Place 4 Points
4th Place 3 Points
5th Place 2 Points
6th Place 1 Point

In the event of a tie on the day of the nominated gymkhana, points are added together and shared between competitors e.g. 2 horses have equal 1st place scores, therefore 1st & 2nd place points are added together (6+5=11) and divided by 2, each rider/horse competitor gaining 1st place with 5.5 points each, the next rider/horse combination then takes 3rd place. In the event of 3 equal 1sts the result would be 6+5+4=15 divided by 3 = 3 rider/horse combinations equal 1st with 5 points each.
